The Swedish-Cypriot Association in Stockholm
The Association of Cypriots in Sweden was established after the Turkish invasion in Cyprus in 1974.
Its members come from all over Sweden with the majority living in Stockholm. The Association is composed of Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots as well as of Swedes who have an affiliation with Cyprus.
During the years after the invasion the association was very active in providing information and making the Swedish opinion aware about the Cyprus question.
There are approximately 300 Cypriots in Sweden, 200 of them residing in Stockholm.
The Swedish-Cypriot Association in Stockholm has about one hundred members.

The main goals of the association are:
- To enhance relations between Cypriots and Swedes and develop cooperation with other immigrants.
- To work for a united, independent and demilitarized Cyprus where all rightful citizens, Greek and Turkish Cypriots, live peacefully together.
- To inform its members on issues regarding Cyprus and Sweden.
- To promote cultural activities.
