Political Section
The Political Section of the Embassy deals with the enhancement of political co-operation between Cyprus and Sweden on issues of bilateral and multilateral interest, relays Swedish views and positions to the Cypriot Government in Nicosia, and analyses and reports on political developments in Sweden. The section works extensively with politicians, journalists, officials and academics in a whole range of fields.
A wide variety of information on Cyprus' Foreign Policy is available at the website of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs of Cyprus. The Ministry's website offers a detailed information on general issues of Cyprus' Foreign Policy, Cyprus Question, and Cyprus-European Union relations.
Bilateral Relations
The Political Section of the Embassy is also dealing with over-viewing the bilateral relations of Cyprus with Sweden, Norway
and Latvia.
