Bilateral Relations
Bilateral relations between Cyprus and Norway are excellent in all fields. The two countries established diplomatic relations on 22 March 1963, 3 years after Cyprus gained its independence from Great Britain.
Cyprus is diplomatically represented in Norway by its Embassy in Stockholm.

Bilateral Agreements Signed:
Cyprus and Norway signed the following bilateral agreements:
1. Convention between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Norwegian Government for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income of 31st August 1951 by way of succession.
Note:
Cyprus after its independence in 1960 chose to be committed by way of succession on certain bilateral agreements in force between the United Kingdom and third countries.
2. Agreement between the Republic of Cyprus and the Kingdom of Norway on Commercial Scheduled Air Transport (05.03.1963).
