President Christofias sends messages of condolences to Spanish President and Foreign Minister

The President of the Republic Mr Demetris Christofias sent today messages of condolences to the President of the Government of Spain, Mr José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero and to the country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Miguel Ángel Moratinos. In his messages, President Christofias expressed, on behalf of the Government and the people of Cyprus “deepest and most sincere condolences, for the loss of so many lives in the plane crash that happened yesterday, 20 August, in Madrid International Airport. Moreover, in his messages, President Christofias conveyed deepest condolences and feelings of solidarity to the families of the victims.
